Our translators work with a translation memory system (TM system) in the majority of languages. This is a memory for translations which is generated by the translator. It is not machine translation. The system only saves the information entered by the translator. It cannot translate independently or automatically. It only serves as an aid for the translator.
All previous translations from one language to another are saved in the TM file and are available for future reference. The use of such tools means that previously used terminology can be looked up in follow-up translation jobs and any repetitions in the text can be identified. In order to use such tools, however, the documents requiring translation must be in an electronic format which can be overwritten.
